Nalco has announced it has declared a quarterly-cash dividend to be made payable to shareholders.
The global provider of integrated water treatment and process improvement services, chemicals and equipment programmes for industrial and institutional applications said its board of directors had decided on a payment of 3.5 cents per share payable on October 2nd to shareholders of record on September 15th.
Nalco announced earlier in the month it had enjoyed a strong sales momentum during the second quarter of 2008.
The firm declared its revenues were up by 9.8 per cent to 1.066 billion dollars (533 million pounds).
Erik Fyrwald, the organisation’s chairman, president and chief executive officer, said: "Our priorities for the remainder of 2008 generally remain the same, with price capture as our primary focus. In addition, we will put more emphasis on operating expense control."
Nalco claims to be the world’s leading water treatment and process improvement company, delivering significant environmental, social and economic benefits to a variety of industries.
