Nalco releases handbook to mark publication’s 30th birthday

Nalco – a specialist in water, air and energy – has released a special edition of its Nalco Water Handbook to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its original publication.

Offering advice on water treatment and supply, the book features information on the improvement of water quality, water treatment processes and the prioritising of water usage.

The publication is now in its third edition and has undergone an overhaul for its anniversary. A chapter on energy in water systems has been included, while the industry section contains information on the role water plays in the production of everyday products, including synthetic fuels, petroleum, metals and paper.

In other recent Nalco news, the firm announced the declaration of a quarterly dividend last week, with directors confirming a cash payment of 3.5 cents (0.02 pounds) per share.

Nalco’s research and marketing team contains more than 7,000 technically trained professionals, in 130 countries worldwide.
