Nalco has announced it is to present at a global water conference in October.
The global provider of integrated water treatment and process improvement services, chemicals and equipment programmes for industrial and institutional applications will present a paper as part of the International Water Conference on October 27th, in San Antonio, Texas.
It will present its Diagnostics and Control of Scale and Corrosion Stress in a 500 Hp Steam Generating System using New Fluorescence and Oxidation-Reduction Technology paper at the industry event.
The presentation will outline a case study in the use of the firm’s new boiler technology at a chemical plant.
"An inert fluorescent tracer and all solid-state fluorometer were used to control antiscalant feed plus a novel Nalco Corrosion Stress Monitor sensor was employed to monitor and control oxygen scavenger application," a company statement continued.
Meanwhile, the firm announced earlier in the month it was paying a quarterly-cash dividend to its shareholders.
