National Magazine Company appoints trading and accounts director
The National Magazine Company has appointed Greg Witham as trading and key accounts director for its Hearst UK Cross Media advertising division.
Mr Witham has been appointed to the key role at the firm's recently reorganised and rebranded central advertising unit in order to help negotiate new contracts and improve its delivery of services.
The current head of advertising for the National Magazine Company's weeklies, he will report directly to group commercial director Matt Salmon in his new role, with his work encompassing all of the firm's brands, clients and partners.
Mr Salmon said: "His skills, expertise and reputation in the advertising market are crucial to helping us achieve our goals of delivering a one-stop shop across multiple platforms to our existing clients and attracting new business."
The National Magazine Company saw significant growth in advertising pages during 2010 and counts Procter and Gamble, Unilever and L'Oreal among its clients.
It is responsible for publishing a number of leading magazine brands, including Men's Health, Esquire and Cosmopolitan.
