National Prosthodontic Awareness Week set to promote good oral health habits.

Missing teeth can impact on an individuals confidence, prospects and overall health, but over in America this will be a thing of the past. Prosthodontists specialise in the restoration and replacement of missing or damaged teeth, and your smile.

The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) has organised National Prosthodontics Awareness Week (NPAW) on the 8 – 14th April to raise awareness of prosthodontists and their speciality, as well as promote the importance of replacing missing teeth and good oral hygiene.

Prosthodontic program director at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine Dr. Avinash Bidra comments “With three years of additional training beyond dental school, prosthodontists are prepared for even the most complex oral health issues related to missing teeth.
