Nobel Biocare launches new products at EAO congress
Nobel Biocare has announced the launch of a number of new products at the annual scientific congress of the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO).
The dental supplies manufacturer is introducing various new implants and esthetic offerings at the industry conference, as well as a new software system for use in dental surgeries.
Among the new products are two additions to the NobelReplace implant range: NobelReplace Conical Connection, which preserves marginal bone by minimising micro-movements, and the internal tri-channel connection-based NobelReplace Platform Shift.
Meanwhile, the new small diameter implant NobelActive 3.0 is also being introduced, offering dentists a new product option for cases where space is limited.
The company's offering of new products is completed by NobelClinician, the first diagnostic and treatment planning software offered for Mac OS X and Windows, catering to the growing use of Apple systems in dental practices.
Last month, the firm announced the successful launch of a domestic straight bond issues valued at 120 million Swiss francs (84.77 million pounds).
