Nobel Biocare launches NobelDesign software for dental restorations

Nobel Biocare has announced the launch of NobelDesign, an efficient and intuitive new software program for the creation of dental restorations.

The software aids the computer-aided design of NobelProcera dental restorations by incorporating a number of Exocad tools for the design of cemented and screw-retained restorations, making multiple cases simple to manage via an easy-to-navigate virtual cockpit.

Key features include its time-saving virtual tooth setup and mirroring features, as well as a virtual articulator function to helps optimise occlusal contact points. Meanwhile, its Exocad TruSmile technology can help to visualise designs in a photorealistic rendering.

Also provided are an angulated screw channel function for improved esthetics and accessibility, and partial cutback tools to enhance the design of veneering support.

NobelDesign is accessible only in combination with the NobelProcera 2G Scanner and is available on an annual subscription basis.
