Nobel Biocare names new chief financial officer
Nobel Biocare has announced the appointment of Tulio Di Dio as its new chief financial officer, effective as of February 1st 2015.
Mr Di Dio joins the company from the Danaher group, which recently finalised its takeover of Nobel Biocare. He can offer more than 23 years of corporate finance experience, including spells with United Technologies and Roche.
He has spent the last 12 years with Danaher, serving most recently as vice-president for finance for Danaher subsidiary Beckman Coulter in Europe. In this role, he played a key part in integrating the company into the wider group structure.
The new chief financial officer has been hired as the successor to Oliver Walker, who is leaving Nobel Biocare to pursue new professional opportunities.
Richard Laube, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, said: "I wish Oliver Walker much success in his new endeavours … our finance team has become a significantly more capable and effective organisation with his leadership."
Danaher's takeover of Nobel Biocare was completed last month and has seen the firm become a key part of the Danaher dental platform, giving the group a leading position in the dental implants market.
