Nobel Biocare reports third quarter financial progress

8th November 2011

Nobel Biocare has reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2011, during which the dental supplies manufacturer saw an improved performance.

The firm's revenue for the period came to 128.2 million euros (109.93 million pounds), which was level with Q3 2010 and an improvement on the second quarter of 2011.

Highlights of the period included the successful launch of three new implants and the continued strength of the NobelActive and NobelProcera brands, which saw double-digit percentage growth.

Richard Laube, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, said the company's recovery plans following recent difficult trading conditions are proceeding according to expectations.

"We are on track with our strategic initiatives by serving patients, driving our innovation programme and strengthening our customer focus," he said.

This comes after the firm demonstrated various new products, including NobelReplace Conical Connection, NobelActive 3.0 and NobelClinician, at the recent European Association of Osseointegration conference.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800790099-ADNFCR
