Norbrook Laboratories provides jackets to World Horse Welfare

Norbrook Laboratories has supplied the team at the Norfolk-based equine charity World Horse Welfare with special jackets as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the organisation.

The hard-wearing jackets will be used by the charity's team as they work outside with horses in inclement weather conditions. The clothing also provides workers with a uniformed look during the many events they will appear at this year.

It comes after the firm previously provided the charity with a number of stable rugs at the Your Horse Live event at the Norbrook Rehoming Village last November.

World Horse Welfare is dedicated to improving the lives of horses through education, campaigning and hands-on care. In the past year, it took in 259 horses – a 43 percent rise on their yearly average.

Tony Tyler, deputy chief executive at World Horse Welfare, said: "Kit like this is absolutely essential for the grooms, so a donation of this kind allows us to direct all-important funds to horses who desperately need our care and expertise."

Norbrook also recently provided support for the seventh annual Mourne Truck Run, which was organised to raise money for the Southern Area Hospice and other charities.
