Novo Nordisk names new marketing VP
Diabetes specialist Novo Nordisk announced late last week the promotion of a new vice president to market its core diabetes brands.
Camille Lee was named as Novo Nordisk’s new vice president of diabetes brand marketing, and will serve on the firm’s executive team under its president Martin Soeters. “Camille is passionate about her staff, Novo Nordisk, our mission and our products,” said Mr Soeters. “In light of our increasing opportunities and competitive challenges in the marketplace, Camille comes to this new position at a very crucial point,” he added.
Mr Soeters pointed to Ms Lee’s long history with the firm and her strong knowledge of international marketing as decisive factors in her promotion to the vice president’s role. “I am confident she will advance the goals of the business and will contribute to our ambition to our ambition of ChangingDiabetesSM in the United States,” he added.
The new vice president has over 21 years of experience at Novo Nordisk. She has worked in progressive sales, operational and strategic marketing fields in the US, Denmark and Zurich. Her recent work has been as regional business director in the key California region within the US diabetes sales team.
Ms Lee said: “I am truly excited to be a part of Novo Nordisk’s dynamic executive team and look forward to leading the continued success of the company’s full portfolio of insulin analogs. I continue to be inspired by the company’s determination in Changing Diabetes and making a difference in the quality of life for people living with the disease.”

79 countries around the world, with marketing operations in 179 nations.
