Octopus Group names new member of board

Octopus Group has announced the appointment of Laura Slade as the newest member of its board of directors.

Ms Slade has been selected for the newly-created role of client operations director after joining the agency three years ago to head its client services team. She was previously a board director at The Whiteoaks Consultancy, where she held the position of client services director.

Her new role has been created to support the company's efforts to expand its range of services and the types of client it works with, reports Gorkana.

Ms Slade's time with Octopus has coincided with a period of strong business performance, resulting in a record 92 percent customer satisfaction score and increased client spend.

Octopus Group chief executive officer Sandy Purewal said: "She has been key in us developing our proposition, services and delivery models over the last few years, ensuring we're one step ahead of the market and delivering best value for our clients."

The group has experience of working with some of the world's leading technology brands, including SAP, WorldPay, Colt and PlayStation.
