Ogilvy launches integrated healthcare offering
Ogilvy has announced the integration of its healthcare media offering into a unified model that will meet the complex needs of industry clients more effectively.
This restructured business model will bring together Ogilvy PR's healthcare practice and Ogilvy and Mather's marketing communications group Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide, creating a fully integrated 360-degree healthcare offering.
Having achieved success working together in the past, the newly combined businesses will be able to deliver a multidisciplinary approach, spanning advertising, direct communication, PR, social media and more.
This announcement coincides with the appointment of Kate Cronin to the Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide board, where she will play a key role in leading this integration.
Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide chairman and chief executive officer Matt Giegerich said: "The new model blows up the old-world agency architecture built on separate discipline pillars, and instead pulls together and integrates the experts around their domain expertise regardless of their function."
Last month, Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide was named as a finalist in two categories at the forthcoming PM360 Trailblazer Awards, with winners to be announced later this week.
