Oral-B reveals their Sensitivity and Gum Calm toothpaste

A brand-new toothpaste, Sensitivity and Gum Calm, which is intended to fight gum and plaque problems, has been revealed by Oral-B.

Sensitivity is caused by nerves that are stimulated in the dentine layer of teeth exposed to periodontal disease or tooth wear, and those with dental sensitivity may find this time of year challenging. When drinking or eating sweet or cold food, as well as taking a breath of cold air, a significant percentage of the population experience sensitivity.

The toothpaste functions by preventing the stimuli producing the painful nerve impulses, and blocking the dentinal tubules, through maintained stannous fluoride. In addition, if used regularly, it will block the tubules continuously; thus, providing ongoing sensitivity relief.
