Owen Mumford to sponsor innovation award at WOBA 2014

Owen Mumford has announced that it will be sponsoring an award category at the 2014 West Oxfordshire Business Awards, which will take place later this month.

The event will be held on March 14th and will see 33 finalists competing across 11 award categories. Owen Mumford will be sponsoring the prestigious innovation category and will also participate in the judging process.

Last year's winner in this bracket was CETA Insurance, with Owen Mumford representatives voting for the company based on the creative design of a new web tool.

The medical technology firm wishes to support the growth of other successful local businesses, having itself developed from a small three-man company to a multinational organisation over the last six decades.

Andy Varde, Owen Mumford's director of research and development, said: "We are delighted to support an award which recognises new and innovative businesses that share our drive to grow and succeed."

Owen Mumford is known as one of the region's leading companies, having earned two prizes at the 2013 Oxfordshire Business Awards.
