Oxford Gene Technology to launch new arrays at ESHG conference

Oxford Gene Technology has announced the launch of a new range of arrays for developmental disorders at the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG) conference in Glasgow.

During the event, the company will introduce its new Cytosure Constitutional v3 arrays, developed following its recent licence agreement with the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute to access data from the Deciphering Developmental Disorders.

This research identified new areas of the genome responsible for developmental disorders, allowing the company to deliver the most advanced, high-resolution developmental disorder arrays currently available.

Moreover, they have been optimised via a proprietary probe design algorithm and experimental validation, enabling the selection of highly-targeted, specific probes placed in regions of the genome that are most likely to detect a biologically relevant aberration.
