Oxoid Instruments records best sales in 25 years

Oxoid Instruments’ Plasma Technology has achieved the? highest order month in its history.

During February 2008 the company received orders for twenty of its systems including a £1 million Bean Cluster system and five production tools from one manufacturing facility in Malaysia.

Oxoid is currently aiming to double its business by 2010 and believes that last month’s orders are indicative of its potential.

Mark Vosloo, Sales and Customer Support director, said: "We are extremely pleased to have achieved an exceptional level of orders in February. This is in line with our target to double the company’s turnover by 2010.

"It is also an endorsement of Oxford Instruments’ position at the forefront of providing high quality, innovative process tools which are clearly answering the customers’ needs."

Oxoid Instruments specialises in the design, manufacture and support of high-technology tools for use within industry research, education, space, energy, defence and healthcare.

In February it was the recipient of the KPMG 2008 Business Awards’ UK exporter of the year accolade.
