Packer Forbes hires new associate director

Packer Forbes has announced the appointment of Samantha Bremner as a new associate director and member of its leadership team.

Ms Bremner has been recruited from Wave Healthcare Communications, while her previous employers also include Merck Serono and Actelion, the latter being a client of Packer Forbes, meaning she has worked with the agency before.

She has extensive experience of the medical communications field, having run diverse programmes from large stand-alone medical education meetings to key opinion leader brand endorsement activities in highly competitive therapeutic areas.

Her appointment follows a recent significant increase in new business for Packer Forbes, which will be handling a rapidly expanding range of medical and patient advocacy programmes for existing clients in the coming months.

This comes after the agency last month helped to found a new pan-European health communications network called Heal, also known as the Healthcare Communications Alliance.
