Packer Forbes makes two appointments to team

Packer Forbes has expanded its team with the appointment of two new members of staff.

The growing healthcare media agency has hired Ane Tobro in the role of account director, while Sarah Avent joins the company as an account manager, reports PRWeek.

Ms Avent has been recruited from fellow marketing firm Athena Medical and will be taking charge of a number of ongoing medical education and public relations projects for Packer Forbes.

Meanwhile, Ms Tobro joins Packer Forbes in a permanent capacity after having performed freelance work for the organisation for the past ten months.

Packer Forbes has seen significant expansion during the last year, relocating from its offices in Clapham to a larger site on Chelsea Harbour at the end of July 2010 as a result.

In October, PRWeek reported that the company has reorganised its leadership structure, with former managing director Alexa Forbes moving into the newly-created role of chief executive.
