PAN appoints new managing director

PAN has announced the appointment of the experienced healthcare comms professional Eric Hansen as its new managing director.

Mr Hansen is the former leader of PAN's sister agency Rock Medical Education and was also previously employed as managing director of Ogilvy Healthworld and CDM London.

He has been hired as the successor to Jon Linscott, who departed the agency at the end of July 2014.

Following his appointment, Mr Hansen will lead the PAN board of directors, which also includes creative director Arron O'Hare, director of strategic brand planning Julia Straker and director Sarah Verhoeff.

Catherine Warne, chief executive officer of PAN's parent company Creston Health, said: "Not only is he an experienced managing director with an outstanding background in health advertising, but he is also an established and well respected member of the senior Creston Health team."

PAN has made a number of hires during the past 12 months as it seeks to build on a track record of success spanning more than two decades. The agency is based in Surrey.
