Parexel’s Perceptive Informatics unit improves medical imaging offering

24th February 2011

Parexel's Perceptive Informatics business unit has augmented its medical imaging services via the use of randomisation and trial supply management (RTSM) technology.

The firm has integrated its medical imaging tracking application with ClinPhone RTSM innovations, allowing data to be seamlessly transferred between the systems.

According to Perceptive Informatics, this automated infrastructure will save time for clinical researchers and makes it easier to analyse factors such as demographic information and patient visit schedules.

Dr Kenneth Faulkner, vice-president for medical imaging at Perceptive Informatics, said this will ultimately result in better clinical data quality.

"We are bringing more comprehensive real-time clinical trial data tracking to our customers for more effective decision-making during the clinical development process," he added.

Last October, it was announced that the Parexel subsidiary has been chosen as the preferred provider of RTSM technologies by Sanofi Pasteur, an agreement that will provide the vaccines specialist with faster workflows and reduced costs.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800425148-ADNFCR
