Park House Healthcare earns ISO 14001 accreditation

Park House Healthcare has been awarded the internationally recognised ISO 14001 accreditation for the environmental management of its business.

The medical technology firm, which has retained the ISO 9001 standard for 16 years, earned this latest qualification after setting up a special Green Team to improve its environmental awareness.

Encompassing staff from all areas of the business, the team helped to identify sustainability objectives and carry out actions to reduce the company's carbon footprint.

The ISO 14001 accreditation is proof of Park House's strong awareness of environmental impacts and helps to ensure full compliance with all environmental legislation currently in place.

Roy Smith, environmental manager for Park House Healthcare, said: "It is essential that we demonstrate a responsible attitude to reducing our carbon footprint and this matter remains at the forefront of all business operations and is a key policy for the future."

Earlier this year, the company was presented with a national award for outstanding achievement at the prestigious Medilink UK Healthcare Business Awards.
