Park House Healthcare launches new mattress cover technology

Park House Healthcare has announced the launch of new mattress cover technology that is optimised for use in hospitals and healthcare settings.

The new Advance Mattress Range has been designed to offer a stronger and more durable cover that can resist the damage that occurs during general use, via innovations such as high-frequency welded seams which resists fluid ingress.

Each mattress includes cleaning and self auditing guidelines printed on the covers that have been approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

According to the manufacturer, the new products will help to improve care quality and reduce rates of infection, while also eliminating the need for excess spending on replacement mattresses.

"Through partnering with numerous NHS Trusts, Park House Healthcare recognised that there was a real need for a more robust mattress solution that can withstand the demands of the modern day healthcare environment," it explained.

Last month, the company offered its congratulations to David Locke, its longest-serving member of staff, after he reached his 25th year with Park House.
