Park House Healthcare staff receive Qualification Achievements
Park House Healthcare has announced that 27 members of its workforce have been presented with Qualification Achievements for their participation in career development programmes.
The company's fourth certificate presentation saw Kirklees councillor Margaret Bates presenting the staff with their certificates, which were earned in diverse disciplines such as professional training, team leading, information technology and warehousing.
Park House operates its training programmes in cooperation with Joseph Priestley College, a partnership that will continue with the launch of new apprenticeship schemes in September 2011.
The firm explained that skills development among workers is a vital part of its business model.
Managing director Stephen Owens said: "The most important part of our business is our people, without them we would not have been able to achieve the unprecedented success that we are currently enjoying."
This comes after the company experienced a record-breaking performance in sales growth terms in 2010, while also expanding in several key business areas.
