Pentax Medical launches Vivideo ENT videoscope solution

Pentax Medical has announced the launch of Vivideo, a new videoscope solution for ear, nose and throat (ENT) applications, in the European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.

Consisting of a video processor and video naso-pharyngo-laryngoscope, this high-definition solution makes it easier for fibre endoscopy users to affordably transition their practice to video endoscopy.

This new easy-to-use technology delivers superior performance and image quality to enhance diagnostic yield and improve patient care, while ensuring maximum comfort through its extremely small diameter insertion tube of just 3 mm.

Meanwhile, its flexible tubing and ergonomic lightweight handle offers maximum convenience, improved workflow, increased patient throughput and outstanding price-performance.

This comes after the company showcased a range of its endoscopy innovations at United European Gastroenterology Week, which took place in Vienna in October 2014.
