PerkinElmer announces resale arrangement

PerkinElmer has announced details of a resale arrangement it has entered into with LEAP Technologies.

Via this deal, the latter company will be able to incorporate the former’s chromatography products into some of its own systems.

The ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography are included in the agreement, which can then be used by LEAP Technologies in its front-end automation tools.

In addition PerkinElmer can provide advanced solutions in this field from LEAP into environmental, forensic and food safety markets – those beyond its usual client base.

"The combined offering is intended to enable LEAP’s biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers to derive additional insight into the data of their most demanding applications," the company said in a statement.

PerkinElmer’s aim is to improve environmental and human health.

It claims to be the world leader in providing multi-mode plate readers and radiometric reagents, as well as the best for manufacturing flat panels used in digital X-ray imaging systems.
