PerkinElmer to display at Chinese trade show

PerkinElmer is set to display its comprehensive suite of machine products at the Machine Vision China 2008 tradeshow.

The March event will mark the first time that the company exhibits its machine vision products in China.

Steve Barry, director of Lighting Sales, PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, said: "We are very pleased to present PerkinElmer’s broad machine vision and illumination product range in China and spotlight our innovations in this important and growing market."

Among the products on exhibition will be the VIGI-Lux family of illumination systems, including the ViGi-Lux 5770 high intensity IR illuminator designed for license plate recognition, infrared surveillance, and industrial machine vision applications.

In addition, the SmartBlue family of Digital Linescan cameras will take centre stage at the exhibition and the CX-strobe series, P-Series high speed linear photodiode array imagers and the PAX family of xenon light sources will all be on display.

In other news from PerkinElmer, the company’s Specimen Gate specialised information management system has been deployed in some 70 countries.
