PerkinElmer to showcase flat panel X-ray imaging devices at RSNA 2015

27th November 2015

PerkinElmer will be presenting its newest flat panel X-ray imaging technologies at this year's annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Taking place in Chicago and playing host to more than 50,000 attendees, the event will give PerkinElmer the opportunity to showcase its amorphous silicon and complementary metal-oxide semiconductor flat panel X-ray detectors.

These will include its XRD4343RF and Dexela 2321 flat panel dynamic detectors for mobile C-arm and radiography and fluoroscopy systems, both of which will be demonstrated ahead of their launch in 2016.

In addition, the firm will display its family of lightweight XRpad wired and wireless lightweight cassette-sized flat panel detectors, including XRpad 4336, XRpad 4343 F and the still-in-development XRpad2 3025.

Brian Giambattista, president of medical imaging for PerkinElmer, said: "We are pleased to highlight our comprehensive portfolio of advanced X-ray imaging technologies for medical equipment manufacturers and healthcare providers at this international forum for radiology professionals."

RSNA 2015 takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago and runs from November 29th to December 4th.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801806848-ADNFCR
