Perrigo relocates key corporate functions to Irish headquarters

3rd March 2016

Perrigo has announced the relocation of several key public-facing corporate functions to its company headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

As part of this, Arthur Shannon will relocate to Ireland and assume the role of vice-president of global corporate affairs and European investor relations, a role that will see him take charge of internal and external global communications and act as the lead point of contact for media.

He will also be responsible for establishing a global government relations base from Dublin and expanding Perrigo's shareholder-focused investor relations programs across Europe.

Meanwhile, Lou Cherico – Perrigo's vice-president and corporate treasurer – will relocate to Dublin to accelerate the buildout of the firm's global treasury and risk management functions in Ireland.

A number of other positions will also be added to the Dublin headquarters, spanning corporate functions such as supply chain/global operations, procurement, enterprise risk management, corporate finance and IT.

Joe Papa, chairman and chief executive officer of Perrigo, said: "The enhancement of our Irish operations furthers the benefits of our global platform and will enable us to drive continued strong profit growth and enhance shareholder value."

The company achieved a record-breaking sales performance in 2015, with further growth expected in 2016.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801814000-ADNFCR
