Person Centred Software Expedites Healthcare Communications

To enable an easier way for providers to link with the London Care Record, One London, the NHS London digital social care group, and the digital care development software company, Person Centered Software, have joined forces.

The aim is for professionals in this sector to have a comprehensive understanding of a patient’s health and care data by using the London Care Record.

The record contains details such as patient allergens, GP data, and any current or previous diagnoses. It was established to expedite communication for care workers and improve the quality of service.

Many care providers working in London nursing homes will have these resources available to them at any moment, enabling them to make comprehensive decisions about the next steps of patient care.

CEO of the software firm, Andrew Coles, explained their strategy, “piloting our latest innovative approach” to “help speed up communication between care professionals and help care home staff to provide the most effective care possible.”

“We see the partnership as a vital step in improving quality of care while showcasing our confidence in continuing to push the boundaries of care”

Less than 12 months following the pilot’s launch, the project has linked over 27 thousand beds to healthcare facilities.
