Petplan to organise dog show at Bath Canine Society event
Petplan has confirmed that it will run its annual Petplan Junior Stakes dog showing competition during an event held by the Bath Canine Society this month.
The qualifying round for the 2011 Petplan Junior Stakes will take place during the Bath Canine General Championship Show between May 27th and 30th, allowing animals aged between six and 18 months old to take part.
Animal health insurance firm Petplan will provide the Bath Canine Society with a 5,000 pound investment to help with running costs for its show, which takes place in Three Shires Field in Bannerdown.
In addition to the competitions, it will encompass seminars on the importance of animal health and welfare, as well as educating visitors on dog shows in general.
Petplan communications manager Carl Stephens said: "We are delighted to be working with the Bath Canine Society this year. I have no doubt this year's Petplan Junior Stakes will be bigger and better than ever."
This comes after the company last month hailed the success of its 12th annual Petplan Veterinary Awards, which were presented at Birmingham Town Hall on March 31st.
