Philips launches new dental products at BDA Conference

Philips has used its presence at the British Dental Association (BDA) Conference in Manchester to introduce a pair of new dental products.

The firm unveiled the Sonicare Airfloss and Sonicare Diamond Clean innovations to attending dental professionals, Dentistry.co.uk reports.

Sonicare AirFloss will remove as much as 99 per cent more plaque from between the teeth than can be achieved by just brushing, the manufacturer claims, while the Diamond Clean is said to boost gum health within a fortnight and make teeth noticeably whiter within seven days.

Independent research has indicated the technology is able to remove up to 100 per cent more plaque than regular brushes, according to the news source.

The Diamond Clean toothbrush is the newest in the range of Sonicare dental products.

Earlier in the year, Philips launched the Sonicare EasyClean, which is aimed at those switching from a manual to a powered toothbrush for the first time.
