Philips’ systems rated top in survey
Philips’ Patient Monitoring Systems have been rated top for overall service performance in the annual IMV ServiceTrak survey.
The company’s top place was based on overall manufacturer satisfaction and probability of repurchase for patient monitoring.
Senior vice-president of customer services at Philips’ North American contingent Tom Kirkland said the company’s employees “strive” to improve quality of service for customers.
He added: “This top ranking for patient monitoring customer services is a tribute to Philips service professionals and their dedication to helping our customers deliver the best patient care possible.”
In the awards, the company also scooped first place for warranty, contract and parts/labour, as well as top-place for systems performance meeting expectations and reliability of hardware and software.
Last month, Philips announced the appointment of a chief medical officer, in an attempt to strengthen the company’s care and patient focus.
Also undertaking the role of senior vice-president, Eric Silfen will report to healthcare chief executive officer Steve Rusckowski.
