Porter Novelli appoints Jennifer Swint as global president

6th August 2018

Porter Novelli’s Washington D.C. office will be looking for a new leader as the present incumbent Jennifer Swint is named global president, to whom all MDs will report.
CEO Brad MacAfee said: “We used to have multiple regional presidents. What we’ve done is look at having a global president in Swint, who is working with all of Porter’s offices on a global basis.”
Ms Swint said: “What we’re not looking for is a traditional model where someone’s goal is building their geographic P&L. We’re not into building offices. We’re into bringing the best talent together in creative ways.”
Further Porter Novelli changes include the appointments of Karen Ovseyevitz as president of its partner group and acting San Francisco MD, Eric Tang as MD of Canada as well as deputy leader of global technology practice, Conroy Boxhill as MD of the Atlanta office, Kyle Farnham from Burson Cohn & Wolfe as leader of the New York and Chicago offices, and Jo Patterson and Nicole Yost as co-leaders of the London office. Director Jayme McCormick replaces Nicole Yost as head of Health in London, and Fenella Gray becomes London chair.
Previous leadership changes included the appointments of Erin Osher to Seattle MD, Strahan Wallis to Southern California MD, and Byron Calamese to Boston MD as well as leader of Porter’s Cone Communications business.
