Porter Novelli initiates hunt for new MD
Porter Novelli is currently searching for a new managing director (MD), it has been revealed.
The company’s long-standing MD, Jean Wyllie, said that she does not have the skills to carry the firm forward into the future and has resigned her position to make way for another candidate, reports PR Week.
There is now a nationwide head-hunt operation in motion to find a suitable replacement for the departing MD, who will continue in her role until her successor takes over, the news provider informs.
Ms Wyllie also holds the post of president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the company.
She stated: "It has been a joy to work at Porter Novelli and there is immense talent at the agency. But the company needs someone with a different skills set than me to take it forward."
This news comes after Porter Novelli announced the details of a new appointment last week, as Catherine Sullivan joined the firm to take on the role of director of communications.
