PRCA names FleishmanHillard UK boss to board of management

The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) has strengthened its board of management with the appointment of Jim Donaldson.

Mr Donaldson is a senior partner and managing director of FleishmanHillard, overseeing its UK and Middle East operations. Prior to joining the agency in 2014, Donaldson was chairman of Weber Shandwick's corporate practice for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He can boast more than 20 years of experience of leading teams in Europe, the Middle East and the UK, meaning he will be able to offer valuable insights at a time when the PR sector is undergoing substantial change.

PRCA director general Francis Ingham said: "Jim brings an outstanding pedigree to the PRCA board of management, along with a truly global outlook and a deep and innate understanding of what communications are today."

The PRCA board is chaired by Golin International president Matt Neale and includes vice-chairman Alison Clark, the boss of Grayling in the UK, plus treasurer Steffan Williams, a partner at RLM Finsbury.
