Procter and Gamble extends warranty for Oral-B power brushes

Procter and Gamble has highlighted an extended warranty arrangement for its Oral-B power brushes sold through dental surgeries.

The company is offering the clients who purchase brushes via their dental professionals with the same warranty as those buying from retail outlets, meaning the product can be returned within two years of purchase if it malfunctions.

Should this occur, Procter and Gamble will repair the brush or offer a replacement free of charge, while the firm also allows buyers to return the product for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if they are dissatisfied, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

According to the manufacturer, this warranty offer is indicative of its confidence in the performance of its Professional Care and Triumph brushes.

Both utilise an oscillating-rotation action to prevent caries and periodontal disease, with independent studies reinforcing their various benefits.

Earlier this month, the multinational company increased its focus on core operations through the sale of its PUR water purification range to Helen of Troy.
