The product was recently ranked as the number one power toothbrush by The Gadget Show, following trials conducted under the supervision of dental professional and media personality Dr Uchenna Okoye, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

Among the prominent qualities of the brush are its efficient plaque removal and various features to ensure compliance with proper brushing guidelines.

Pressure indicators on the device alert users when they may be brushing too hard, while regular beeps help to communicate when they should move on to cleaning a different quadrant of the mouth.

These advantages led Dr Okenna to give the Oral-B Triumph 5000 her top recommendation, while lauding it for its effectiveness.

Procter and Gamble states that the brush can offer whitening and polishing benefits within three weeks of use, describing it as its most technologically advanced brush, while noting its gentleness on teeth and gums.
