Purina’s horse feed contains Amplify Nugget

17th March 2009

Purina’s new horse feeds contain the company’s patented Amplify Nugget, the firm has revealed.

Six out of the seven products it is launching contain the particle, which the business explained is nutrient-rich as it is made up of a blend of plant oils, flax seed and rice bran.

The feed is designed to help horses achieve improved body and muscle condition, a shiner coat and healthier hooves within 60 days of consumption.

Brant Gilbert, marketing manager for the company’s horse business group, claimed the Amplify Nugget provides nutritional advantage for almost any type of this creature.

“Through extensive research, Purina has learned how certain nutritional advantages can help horses be more active and productive during their lifetimes,” he commented.

Mr Gilbert concluded the firm’s next generation of feed can enrich animal’s lives, no matter what their age.

Purina is the primary sponsor of a website launched this week by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

The purpose of the site is to provide ideas and information related to pet care for those who own one or many creatures, with topics ranging from nutrition to grooming.
