QIAGEN to present at annual healthcare conference

QIAGEN is presenting at the JPMorgan 26th Annual Healthcare Conference in January.

The company’s chief executive officer, Peer M Schatz, will give an overview of the company, discuss recent business developments and outline future opportunities.

The presentation will be webcast live via QIAGEN’s website and available for three months after the conference.

The conference is held on January 8th at Westin St Francis in San Francisco, California.

QIAGEN is a Netherlands-based holding company which provides sample and assay technologies.

According to the company, its products are considered standard in a variety of areas including pre-analytical sample preparation and assay solutions in research for life science, applied testing and molecular diagnostics.

Recently QIAGEN entered into a joint venture with Bio*One.

The two companies are collaborating to develop molecular diagnostic products, in a new DX Assays centre in Singapore.
