Radleys launches new product

21st August 2008

Radleys has come up with a new standard in temperature controlled reaction chemistry.

Its new Storm Workstation provides precise controlled heating and cooling from -65 to 200 degrees celsius, which the firm says is "ideal" for chemists looking to undertake steady state stirred reactions over a varied temperature range.

Radleys claims the product when combined with the Carousel 6 Reaction Station and Tornado Overhead Stirrer creates a powerful process reactor which heats and cools.

"Storm was designed using sophisticated modelling software – setting a new standard in precise temperature controlled reaction chemistry," the firm said in a statement.

Bill and Iris Radley formed the company in 1963 when they set-up a glassblowing workshop in Epping, Essex.

The firm has since expanded and now claims to be a niche supplier of laboratory equipment focusing on its own areas of expertise enabling the business to add benefits to the products and services it offers.
