Real-world data finds patients feel better on Entresto, says Novartis
Reported at the European Society of Cardiology Heart Failure Congress over the weekend, patients suffering with heart failure who took Novartis’ Entresto stated they had a better quality of life and fewer symptoms.
The drug was approved for use to start treating chronic heart failure patients in 2015 had a slow start, but now is developing some sales traction.
Results shows that the drug reduced the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalisation from heart failure, and has shown significant improvement in health status.
