Reckitt Benckiser set to part with executive vice president

Reckitt Benckiser is set to part ways with its executive vice president for Europe Elio Leoni Sceti, it has been announced.

Mr Leoni Sceti joined the pharmaceuticals firm in 1992, since which time he has filled a number of different positions and been involved at management level with the company’s marketing activates in Europe.

Details of why Mr Leoni Sceti has decided to part ways with Reckitt Benckiser have not been disclosed but a statement from the firm said: “A replacement for this executive committee position will be announced in due course.”

Prior to joining his most recent employer, the 42-year-old Italian worked at Proctor & Gamble in Italy and France and he had been Reckitt Benckiser’s European executive vice president since July 2006.

Reckitt Benckiser traces its roots as a company back to England in the early 1800s and it acquired Boots Healthcare in 2006 in an effort to enhance its presence in the over-the-counter healthcare product industry.
