Roche makes changes to communications staff
Roche has appointed Stephan Feldhaus as its new head of group communications in order to replace Per-Olof Attinger, who is moving to a different role.
Mr Feldhaus will take up the communications position, as well as becoming a member of the enlarged corporate executive committee, as of August 1st 2010.
He is joining Roche from science company Siemens, where he held a variety of roles in healthcare and communications.
Mr Feldhaus’s appointment has been made necessary by Mr Attinger’s selection for the newly-created position of head of the chief executive officer’s (CEO) office and secretary to the corporate executive committee, a role which he will start on June 1st 2010.
Both of the newly-appointed executives will report directly to Roche CEO Severin Schwan.
Last week, the company held an investor conference during which it expressed confidence in its future growth prospects, based on its growing portfolio of potentially promising brain disease and cancer treatments.
