Roche’s update on Phase 3 study of Tecentriq

27th January 2020

Roche has recently published an update for its Phase 3 IMvigor010 trial, evaluating Tecentriq for a post-surgery monotherapy, which states that it didn’t achieve its primary disease-free survival endpoint relative to observation in muscle-invasive urothelial cancer patients.

There were no new safety signals reported for Tecentriq, and the safety remained consistent with its well-established safety profile.

Chief Medical Officer and Head of Global Product Development, Levi Garraway, M.D., Ph.D., stated: “Reducing the risk that muscle-invasive urothelial cancer will recur after surgery is very difficult and we are disappointed that we were not able to significantly prolong disease-free survival. We remain committed to exploring the potential benefits of immunotherapy for more people with early cancers.”
