Ruder Finn outlines tech health division launch
Ruder Finn has announced that it will be launching a new technology health division in January 2013.
Comprising a team of four people, led by corporate and technology head Emma Sinden, the unit is being launched in response to growing interest in the m-health market and the role played by mobile technology in healthcare management.
Providing communications counsel to healthcare and technology companies, it will offer services including stakeholder mapping, campaign development and product launches, reports PRWeek.
A recent YouGov poll commissioned by the agency showed that one-fifth of people are likely to use mobile technology to manage their health, with mobile apps for booking GP appointments the most desired innovation.
Ms Sinden said: "More technology and telecoms firms are expanding into this space and pharmaceutical companies are looking at how they use technology to better communicate with stakeholders and other influencers."
The firm employs more than 400 top public relations professionals and operates offices in London, New York, Paris, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Guangzhou.
We have hundreds of jobs available across the Healthcare industry, find your perfect one now.
