SCA appoints new management team members
SCA has strengthened its overall management with the appointment of two new members of its global hygiene business leadership setup.
The company has promoted Mats Berencreutz as the new chief operating officer of the business unit, a role that will leverage his long experience in senior positions at SCA.
This creates a vacancy in his previous post of president of European tissue operations, which is to be filled by Magnus Groth, joining the firm from his previous position as president of technical services provider Studsvik.
SCA announced that this will also see both newly appointed staff members become part of its corporate senior management team.
Jan Johansson, the organisation's chief executive officer, said: "By implementing this change, we will strengthen the group's resources and create conditions to further coordinate and develop SCA's hygiene business, with the goal of improving profitability and increasing the growth."
Last month, the firm was identified by the Ethisphere Institute as being one of the world's most responsibly run companies for the fourth year in a row.
