SCA listed in Ethisphere’s ethical companies ranking

SCA has been recognised by the Ethisphere Institute as being one of the most ethically operated businesses in the world.

The health and hygiene products manufacturer has been included in the institute's ranking of the world's most responsibly run companies for the fourth year in a row.

SCA was one of 110 firms included on the list, which highlights organisations that are deemed to have surpassed their industry peers in terms of conduct.

This recognises SCA's work in implementing core corporate values of "respect, responsibility and excellence" and its ability to translate these principles into action via regular reviews and assessments of its business ethics.

Jan Johansson, president and chief executive officer of the firm, said: "SCA places a strong emphasis on corporate responsibility and we are very pleased about being named one of the world's most ethical companies."

Earlier this month, the group published a report which aimed to highlight the important role played by hygiene in maintaining wellbeing among women.
