Scintil Photonics Secures $58M to Revolutionise AI Infrastructure
Scintil Photonics, based in Grenoble, France, has successfully raised $58 million in its Series B funding round, spearheaded by Yotta Capital Partners, with NVIDIA and other key investors participating. This significant investment supports Scintil’s ambitious plans to enhance its workforce, accelerate production, and expand globally, particularly in the U.S. The funds are set to drive the deployment of Scintil’s pioneering LEAF Light™ photonic technology, designed to optimise AI infrastructure through high-density, low-power optical integration.
As a leader in Heterogeneous Integrated Photonics, Scintil Photonics focuses on developing solutions that meet the rising demands of AI infrastructure. The company’s LEAF Light™ is touted as the industry’s first single-chip DWDM-native light engine, crucial for next-gen AI data centres needing efficient, high-bandwidth, and low-latency connectivity. This reflects the growing need for advanced photonic solutions to support powerful GPU clusters, promising to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and lower the carbon emissions of AI facilities.
