Scottish Biomedical offers specialist HDAC services

Scottish Biomedical has made specialist histone deacetylases (HDAC) services available to the scientific community, handling issues connected to integral human enzymes.

HDACs – enzymes involved in gene expression that are pivotal to every biological process in the human body – have been implicated in a number of diseases including cancer, central nervous system diseases.

The firm now offers the full human enzyme selection for purchase and in-house screening, as well as IC50 profiling and custom assay development.

Scottish Biomedical, which is based in Glasgow, specialises in biology-based research services and has so far worked with hundreds of clients around the world.
